Practice Notes - 26/12/2021

Some tunes are more involved than they first look. I find I need to look at the micro changes so that the sum becomes playable. Such a tune is "Come on Over" by Shania Twain. Playing the accordian part on the violin is certainly doable, but the changes of key throughout the song and the generous use of double stops, particularly 6ths mean that there is no space for cruising amidst the concentration.

I've prepared some practice notes for the final key modulation into F# major, which includes a 4 string chord spread. It is by no means definitive, and there will be other places of focus that will present themselves as a priority for different players, but these are the focus points for me, currently.
